Have you ever had to give a speech in public?
I went to a wedding last night. At weddings, people give speeches. Friends and family of the bride and groom pick up the microphone and talk about the good times and happy moments that led up to this momentous occasion.
But speaking in front of crowds isn’t something most people do very often.
Public speaking generates influence. If you can be an effective public speaker, you can extend your influence.
You can become a better speaker through practice. In the United States, the example is Toastmasters: join a local group.
Similar programs exist throughout the world. For example, here’s an entrepeneur who promotes training in public speaking in India:

Search the Internet for local classes near you.
The number one way to become a better speaker is by doing public speaking. Most people are afraid of public speaking.
You can set yourself apart if you are willing, especially if you have marginal talent.
